During a Fanatics Fest panel in New York over the weekend, Ryan Reynolds confirmed for the first time on record that another Deadpool movie will happen, though he framed it as "eventually" and said he's now writing the character as a supporting player rather than a lead. Reynolds specifically namechecked Fabian Nicieza and Gerry Duggan runs as source material for "deep cuts I think are missing from the movies."

Universal has set Glen Powell to star as Yankees legend Lou Gehrig in an untitled biopic directed by Richard Linklater. Lorne Michaels is producing. Simon Rich is writing the script.
